河南省地方鸡骨骼特性的研究
A study on the bone characteristics of local chickens in Henan Province
摘要
Abstract
[Objective]This paper aims to study the characteristics and differences of skeletal charac-teristics of local chickens in Henan Province.[Method]Adult chickens of five local chicken breeds in Henan Province,including Gushi chicken,Henan Game chicken,Zhengyang Yellow chicken,Xi-chuan Black-bone chicken and Lushi chicken,were randomly selected.Sixteen chickens of each breed with an equal number of males and females were slaughtered for the collection of femur,tibia and met-atarsal bones.The bone morphometry of femur,tibia,metatarsus,and the bone density,bone strength of male and female chickens,as well as bone composition indicators of female chickens were meas-ured.Subsequently,variance analysis and principal component analysis were performed to analyze the data obtained.[Result]Among the different breeds of local chickens in Henan Province,the quality and length of femur,tibia,and metatarsal of Henan Game chicken were significantly higher than those of other breeds,regardless of gender.Additionally the bone strength and bone density of Henan Game cocks were significantly higher than those of Zhengyang Yellow roosters and Lushi roosters,with no sig-nificant difference from Gushi roosters and Xichuan Black-bone roosters.Except for Henan Game cock,the bone mineral density and bone strength of Xichuan Black-bone hens were significantly higher than those of other breeds of hens.The calcium and ash contents in the tibia of Zhengyang Yellow hens and Xichuan Black-bone hens were significantly elevated compared to Gushi hens and Lushi hens.Among all breeds,the tibia phosphorus content of Lushi hens stood out as the highest,markedly sur-passing that of Xichuan Black-bone hens.Utilizing principal component analysis,two principal compo-nents were selected from the 22 bone indices across various breeds.These two principal components encompassed all the information related to the bone indicators,with Henan Game chicken receiving the highest comprehensive score.[Conclusion]The bone characteristics of Henan Game chicken are signif-icantly better than those of the other four local chicken breeds,followed by Xichuan Black-bone chick-en,Gushi chicken,Zhengyang Yellow chicken and Lushi chicken.关键词
