Adsorption kinetics equation based on Langmuir isotherm
摘要
Abstract
The adsorption is regarded as a chemical reaction between solute and solid adsorbent,and the corresponding kinetic model was developed referring to the reaction kinetics.Based on Langmuir isothermal adsorption,the kinetic concentration of adsorbent was defined,and its relationship with solid-liquid ratio and Langmuir constant was determined.The model consists of a(1+a)order differential equation,corresponding to the adsorbent kinetic mass concentration of 1 and the solute mass concentration of a.The analytical expression of the model is obtained by solving kinetics differential equation at a=1 and a=2.The regression calculations of the adsorption data in literatures were carried out at a=2.The model prediction and the experimental data are in good agreement.The correlation coefficient R2 is over 0.97.关键词
