Analysis and Reflection on the English School Names of Higher Vocational Colleges and Universities in the Context of"Vocational Education Going Global"
摘要
Abstract
The name of a school is a crucial aspect of its overall image and brand value.As China's vocational education expands globally,the English names of vocational colleges and universities are frequently mentioned in international settings.Analyzing 56 high-level school construction units as examples,we identify four common forms of expression used in their English school names.This article discusses the characteristics and influence of English school names from three aspects:expression and interpretation,use on the international Internet,and use in the field of academic innovation.The aim is to provide a realistic basis and theoretical data support for the optimization of English school names when China's vocational colleges are upgraded to undergraduate vocational colleges and universities.This will help China's vocational education to expand globally.关键词
