Focusing on the Nausea and Vomiting beyond Risk Period Contributes to Optimizing CINV Full-Course Management
摘要
Abstract
Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV)is a common adverse event during cancer treatment.CINV can negatively affect the quality of life and treatment effect of cancer patients.Despite the coming of an era of standard CINV prevention,CINV still plague patients receiving anti-tumor drugs in clinic.The causes of this situation are complex,the long-lasting nausea and vomiting beyond the risk period should especially be concerned.With the extension of the observation period in clinical studies and the continuous accumula-tion of real-world data,it has confirmed that CINV factually occurs beyond risk period,and the incidence is more than 30％.CINV beyond risk period also leads to poor quality of life of cancer patients during chemotherapy.Thus,understanding the nausea and vomiting beyond risk period can contribute to promoting the CINV full-course management,optimizing the strate-gies of CINV prevention and treatment,improving the quality of life of cancer patients and effect of antitumor therapy,and providing new direction for CINV research.关键词
