Progress of Lactate Metabolism in Tumor Treatment:Target Strategy and Discussion
摘要
Abstract
Lactate,as a significant energy substrate for tumor cells,shuttles between cells to provide them with energy.Studies have shown that lactate in the tumor microenvironment is taken up and utilized by tumor cells,closely related to their growth,invasion,metastasis,angiogenesis and immune evasion.Considering the metabolic process of lactate,the inhibition of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)A,LDHB,as well as monocarboxylate transporter(MCT)1 and MCT4 activities,can effective-ly reduce lactate concentration in tumor tissue,thereby suppressing the energy supply to tumor cells.This article aims to re-view the roles of lactate in tumors and summarize the advancements in pharmacological research on inhibiting lactate produc-tion and transport,ultimately providing novel methodologies and insights for tumor treatment.关键词
