摘要

Abstract

With the increasing environmental crisis,the Chinese government has put forward the grand goal of"carbon neutrality,carbon peak",and clean energy is one of the effective means to achieve the double carbon goal.However,high overpotential and slow kinetics of anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)are the primary obstacle for improving the efficiency of water splitting to produce hydrogen by water electrolysis.Metal-organic framework(MOF)are considered as excellent catalysts for water splitting due to their regular microstructures,large specific surface area,and tunable pore size,etc.In this paper,recent research progress of MOF-based electrocatalysts for OER has been reviewed by design strategy and catalytic mechanism of MOF-based electrocatalysts.Various modulation strategies for improving the activity of MOF-based electrocatalysts,including crystallinity,electronic structure,defect and morphology,were introduced.Finally,the challenges and opportunities of MOF materials as OER catalysts are prospected.
