Effects of intestinal microorganisms on lipid metabolism in livestock and poultry

Abstract
Intestinal microbiota plays a crucial role in maintaining animal health,as they participate in and influence the host's physiological processes through a variety of direct and indirect mechanisms.Although gut microbes are closely related to the metabolism and health status of livestock and poultry,the relationship between them and the mechanism of action needs to be further studied.The article focuses on the recent research progress in revealing the relationship between gut microbiota and animal lipid metabolism,and explores the complex interactions between the metabolic products of livestock gut microbiota(such as short-chain fatty acids,bile acids,and tryptophan metabolites and their derivatives)and lipid metabolism.It particularly discusses how the interplay between gut microbiota and the host jointly determines the metabolic changes of the host and the microbiota,and summarizes domestic and international research on improving host lipid metabolism by modulating the gut microbiota.The aim is to provide references for the application and research of using gut microbiota to regulate lipid metabolism and improve meat quality.关键词
