Research progress on physiological functions of lysine and its application in pig production
摘要
Abstract
Lysine,as a functional essential amino acid for pigs, has a variety of physiological functions. An appropriate level of lysine in the feed is beneficial for improving pig growth performance and the digestibility of feed nutrients in pigs, regulating the activity of digestive enzymes and the expression of amino acid transporters in the pig intestine, thereby affecting the absorption of nutrients in the pig intestine. However,an excess of lysine can affect cell vitality, while a deficiency can affect metabolism, induce inflammatory reactions in piglets, and both are not conducive to the normal growth and development of pigs. The requirement for lysine varies with factors such as pig breed type, gender, and rearing stage.L-lysine and carboxylated poly-L-lysine,3,3-dimethylglutaric anhydride poly-L-lysine,ε-poly-L-lysine and other lysine derivatives are good cryopreservation agents, and play a significant role in the pig industry chain. The article reviews the research progress of lysine in pig nutrient digestibility, immune function, intestinal health, and skeletal muscle growth, analyzes the appropriate lysine requirements in pig production and the interaction between lysine and L-arginine,and summarizes the application research of L-lysine as a cryoprotectant in pig production. With the widespread application of lysine and its derivatives in pig production, the research on its effects and mechanisms is also continuously deepening.A more precise requirement for lysine will help further improve pig production performance and increase feed utilization.关键词
