Abstract

Abundant geological,geophysical and geochemical data have been accumulated from explorations in the Tonghuashan-Caihuagou area in the past.The discovery of the Zhongbao tungsten deposit,the Caihong copper deposit and the Tiancai gold deposit in the area,including gold-copper deposits in the surrounding area has made it a hot spot for a new round of exploration and development.On the basis of fully collecting and studying the previous geological data,this paper delineates the geophysical anomalies through 1∶50 000 high-precision ground magnetic survey,carries out preliminary verification on the geophysical anomalies of great significance in the Tonghuashan-Caihuagou area,delimits the prospecting targets,and strengthens the comprehensive research on the metallogenic geological background,metallogenic conditions,ore-controllingfactorsandmineralizationenrichmentlawinthearea,andmakesa comprehensiveevaluation ofthe ore-prospecting potential in the area.It is concluded that the Tonghuashan cobalt polymetallic deposit,the Caihuagou copper-bearing pyrite deposit and the Tiancai gold deposit have favorable metallogenic geological conditions,good ore-forming element associations,remarkable prospecting signs,geophysical and geochemical anomalies similar to mineralized anomalies,and great resource capacities.
