Chinese experience of OLIF technique:ten years of grinding sword and in the prime of life
摘要
Abstract
Oblique lumbar interbody fusion(OLIF)has been in China for 10 years,it has been developed and promoted continuously because of its unique advantages and definite efficacy.OLIF can achieve indirect decompression of spinal canal and intervertebral foramen,better restore intervertebral height and lumbar spine sequence,protect the integrity of lumbar structure,and maximize the reduction of spinal cord nerve harassment,with less intraoperative bleeding volume;in addition,patients could get out of bed and walk immediately after surgery,and OLIF is helpful for patients'postoperative rapid recovery.With the concept innovation and Chinese modification of this technique by the spine surgery team of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital,Zhejiang University School of Medicine,the advantages of this technique have been further presented,the application scope has been gradually expanded,and the safety of surgery has been continuously improved.Based on the 10-year experience of the team,the author discusses several key issues of OLIF.关键词
