Research progress on community led support for caregivers of senile dementia patients
摘要
Abstract
Senile dementia is a progressive neurodegenerative disease with a hidden onset and a long and incurable course.With the intensification of population aging,the number of senile dementia patient is also increasing year by year.At present,the majority of senile dementia patient live in communities and are cared for by families.Long-term care work has brought a heavy burden to caregivers,seriously affecting their quality of life.Grassroots health service professionals,as health guardians of community residents,should provide support and assistance to their caregivers in order to better care for senile dementia patient.This paper reviews the current research status of community led support for caregivers of senile dementia patient,including the survey of community support needs of community senile dementia patient and caregivers,and various ways to support caregivers of community senile dementia patient,such as home-visit nursing,psychological intervention,health education,respite care,peer support,etc,the purpose is to provide a reference for the relevant research on community support for caregivers of senile dementia patient.关键词
