Li Guohui's Experience of Treating Meniere's Disease with Spleen Deficiency and Dampness Excess by Stages
摘要
Abstract
Professor Li Guohui believes that"phlegm"is the main pathogenic substance of meniere's disease(MD),and"spleen defi-ciency and dampness excess"is the main etiology.The treatment focus is to"supplement deficiency and expel excess",that is,to sup-plement"spleen deficiency"and expel"phlegm excess".Taking"removing phlegm and dredging orifices"as the general principle of treatment,Professor Li divides the treatment of MD into three stages:"retention","phlegm"and"stasis".In the early stage of MD,the focus is to treat"retention"to eliminate dampness and invigorate the spleen.In the middle stage of MD,the focus is to treat"phlegm"to warm the spleen and resolve phlegm.In the late stage of MD,the focus is to treat"stasis"to remove blood stasis and resolve phlegm.Professor Li has formulated Dizziness-Removing Decoction by himself.In the early stage of MD focusing on"retention",Shanyao(Rhi-zoma Dioscoreae),Yiyiren(Semen Coicis)and Sharen(Fructus Amomi)are often added to enhance the effect of eliminating dampness and invigorating the spleen.In the middle stage of MD focusing on"phlegm",Tiannanxing(Rhizoma Arisaematis),Baifuzi(Rhizoma Typhonii)and Xuanfuhua(Flos Inulae),etc.are often added to enhance the effect of drying dampness and resolving phlegm.In the late stage of MD focusing on"stasis",Baijiezi(Semen Sinapis),Shancigu(Pseudobulbus Cremastrae seu Pleiones)and Haifushi(Pumex),etc.are often added to enhance the effect of eliminating stasis and resolving phlegm.关键词
