Application of SiC Quantum Dot Sensitized g-C3N4 Photoanode in Photocatalytic Fuel Cells
摘要
Abstract
Photocatalytic fuel cell(PFC)is a new type of device that can effectively convert chemical ener-gy generated from the photocatalytic process into electrical energy.A new type of multifunctional double-chamber photocatalytic fuel cell was designed and optimized with SiC quantum dots sensitized graphite phase C3N4(g-C3N4)as the photoanode material.When Fenton reaction was introduced into the cathode chamber as the coreaction,the composite photoanode exhibited an excellent photocatalytic and photoelec-tric conversion performance,and the reaction rates in both chambers were significantly increased,which thereby significantly improved the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the PFC system.关键词
