摘要

Abstract

Polyoxometalates(POMs)is a class of metal-oxygen clusters,which is composed of early tran-sition metal atoms(Mo,W,V,Nb,and Ta,etc.)and interconnected by shared oxygen atoms.POMs can be precisely controlled at the atomic level,resulting in their intriguing structures.Due to the rapid and reversible multi-electron transfer performance,POMs have drawn the widespread attention in the field of catalysis,materials science,energy,and pharmaceuticals,and become a research focus of interdisciplinary integration.In recent years,electrocatalysis has gained extensive attention because its green and clean characteristics,high atom utilization efficiency,and environmental benefits.This review provides a sum-mary of the catalytic properties and applications of POMs in the area of electrocatalytic water splitting,value-added transformation of organic molecules,and electrocatalytic CO2 conversion.In addition,the fu-ture development of POMs electrocatalysis is prospected.
