摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore effects of reading therapy combined with respiratory function training on mental state and cancer-related fatigue in patients undergoing surgery for esophageal cancer. Methods:A total of 76 patients with esophageal cancer who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from August 2021 to August 2023 were randomly divided into two groups with 38 patients in each group. The control group received routine clinical interven-tion,and the study group received reading therapy combined with respiratory function training on this basis. The mental state, coping style,cancer-related fatigue, lung function and quality of life of the two groups were evaluated. Results:After intervention, the scores of self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)in the study group were lower than those in the control group(t=-5.381,-7.310;P<0.05).After the intervention, the positive coping score in the Simple Coping style Questionnaire(SCSQ)of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the negative coping score was lower than that of the control group(t=5.106,-5.561;P<0.05).After the intervention, the Piper Revised Fatigue Scale(RPFS)scores of emotion, sensation, behavior and cognition in the study group were lower than those in the control group(t=-12.407,-7.595,-7.544,-7.458;P<0.05).After the intervention, the maximum volume of gas(MVV),forced vital capacity(FVC)and forced expiratory volume at the first second(FEV1)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(t=5.302,4.007,5.168;P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of WHOQOL-BREF in the study group were higher than those in the control group(t=6.614,7.963,5.333,6.488;P<0.05).Conclusion:Reading therapy combined with respiratory function training can effectively improve patients mental state and coping style, reduce their cancer-related fatigue, and improve their lung function and quality of life.关键词
