Abstract
Objective To investigate the current status and influencing factors of preoperative visit demand in elderly patients undergoing inguinal herniorhaphy,and provide reference for making targeted preoperative visit plan.Methods Using a self-made questionnaire,a preoperative visit demand survey was conducted on 80 elderly patients undergoing open inguinal herniorhaphy admitted to People's Hospital of Lujiang County from 2020 to 2022.Their relevant clinical data were collected,and preoperative visit demand of patients with different characteristics was compared.Multivariate linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of preoperative visit demand.Results Their total score for preoperative visit demand was(127.53±16.37)points and its standardized score was 68.94 points,respectively.The greatest demand was"treatment costs"(12.97±0.92 points),and its standardized score was 86.47 points.The second was"psychological support"(12.12±1.71 scores),and its standardized score was 80.80 points.The top three scoring items were"surgical cost"(4.64±0.16 points),"face-to-face oral education"(4.26±0.24 points),and"informing postoperative rehabilitation"(3.97±0.32 points),respectively.The last three scoring items were"surgical position"(2.36±0.74 points),"operating room tempera-ture"(2.16±0.67 points),and"WeChat or QQ push"(2.13±0.46 points),respectively.There were significant differ-ences in total score of preoperative visit demand among elderly patients with different occupations,education level,places of residence,family monthly income,medical insurance types and history of previous major surgery(P＜0.05).The results of multivariate linear regression analysis showed that education level and place of residence were independent influencing factors of preoperative visit demand.The preoperative visit demand was higher in patients with high education level and those living in the city(P＜0.05).Conclusion Elderly patients undergoing inguinal herniorhaphy have a high demand for preoperative visit,especially for"treatment cost"and"psychological support".Patients with high education level and living in city have higher demand for preoperative visit.关键词
