The Historical Genesis of the Chinese Path to Modernization:Debate,Criteria and Judgment

Abstract
The historical genesis of the Chinese path to modernization carries significant original significance.A precise comprehension of its historical origins aids in delving into the essence,foundation,and ethos of Chinese modernization,facilitating adept navigation and preservation of its trajectory.However,there has been a considerable amount of debate in the academic community regarding the historical genesis of the Chinese path to modernization,primarily centered around four viewpoints,namely,starting from the inception of modern China,starting from the founding of the Communist Party of China(CPC),starting from the founding of the People's Republic of China,and starting from the convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.The Chinese path to modernization embodies specific scientific connotations,essential provisions,and a generative context.Its historical genesis cannot be simply attributed to the exploration of analogous phenomena or the existence of particular enabling conditions,but rather should be rooted in the history of its conceptual formulation and stipulation,the development of its theoretical and practical foundations,and the attainment of tangible outcomes.Consequently,the historical genesis of the Chinese path to modernization is argued to be the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee.This landmark event is significant as it elucidated the theory and rationale behind the Chinese path to modernization,inaugurated the practical trajectory of Chinese modernization,and perpetuated the Party's tradition of continual exploration.Under its profound influence,the Chinese path to modernization has achieved remarkable successes,garnering global attention onward.关键词
