新闻报道中"南水北调精神"建构的实证分析
An Empirical Analysis of Constructing the Spirit of South-to-North Water Diversion in News Coverage

Abstract
Based on the discourse analysis methodology,472 news coverage items about the South-to-North Water Diversion Project between 2000 and 2023,as well as 42 related academic articles published since 2009,were analyzed.The results indicate that news coverage mediated between the practice and the spirit of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project.Fifteen elementary connotations with complex interconnections and affinities in news coverage were identified.News coverage highlighted three characteristics of the South-to-North Water Diversion Spirit:the pursuit of ecological priority,the principle of coordination,and the patriotism of sacrifice and dedication.Further comparative analysis suggests that the preferences regarding the connotations of the Spirit of the South-to-North Water Diversion were not consistent between journalists and the academic community.Journalists emphasized the conception of ecological priority and coordination,while academics focused on the spirit of sacrifice and dedication,as well as innovation.It is necessary for journalists and the academic community to reach a consensus and create a coordinated approach to the dissemination of the spirit of South-to-North Water Diversion.关键词
