Single-chip microcontroller technology plays an important role in optical module system.This paper summarizes the development of optical module,summarizes the basic classification and working principle of optical module,and analyzes the function and significance of single-chip microcontroller in each application path combined with the transceiver mechanism of laser.This paper analyzes the concrete realization mode and application index of single-chip microcontroller in optical module according to the IIC,GPIO,ADC,DAC and other functions of single-chip microcontroller,summarizes the application performance of single-chip microcontroller with different architecture,and discusses the future development direction of single-chip microcontroller in the field of optical module.
