Construction of China's Plan for Sustainable Development of Fishery Resources in the South China Sea
摘要
Abstract
The issue of effective governance of the South China Sea fishery resources should be guided by practical needs to explore the overall tone of sustainable development of the South China Sea fishery resources,which is the fun-damental prerequisite for constructing a governance plan with Chinese characteristics.At the same time,we should seize the opportunity to deeply reflect on the shortcomings of existing governance measures from the perspectives of legislation,law enforcement,and judiciary,keep up with the global trend of ocean governance,draw on the experience of Mediter-ranean governance,and form a systematic plan that meets the needs of ocean governance in the South China Sea.This plan should be attractive,appealing,and guiding,and fully demonstrate China's basic position on the South China Sea issue.China can achieve sustainable development of fishery resources in the South China Sea through feasible approaches such as strengthening scientific management and regulatory construction,focusing on ecological restoration,breeding and conservation,and promoting international cooperation and regional governance.关键词
