An Empirical Test of Data Factor Market Development Enabling Industrial Structure Upgrading

Abstract
In the context of high-quality development,industrial structure upgrading is the key to economic reform,while da-ta factor market development is an important path to activate data potential and promote industrial structure upgrading.This paper adopts a genetic algorithm-based projection pursuit model to measure the development level of data factor market in 30 provinces of China from 2017 to 2021,then establishes a threshold model to analyze the nonlinear relationship between data factor market development and industrial structure upgrading,and finally applies a spatial econometrics model to analyze the spatial spillover ef-fect of the two.The results are shown as follows:The data factor market has developed rapidly from 2017 to 2021,but the in-ter-provincial differences are large,and there is still a large space for development.The development of the data factor market has a significant role in promoting the industrial structure upgrading.When the regional technological innovation capacity exceeds a certain level,the enabling effect of the development of the data factor market becomes more significant.The large economic gap impedes the exchange of data factor market development between regions,and in turn hinders the spillover effect of data factor market development on the upgrading of industrial structure in the neighboring regions.关键词
