Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of the precision teaching model in Pediatric Nursing in higher vocational institutions.Methods Traditional offline teaching was performed in control group(123 students from grade 2019),while precise intervention based on rain classroom data and process evaluation was adopted in intervention group(126 students from grade 2020).Students'performance and skills,satisfaction with the class,clinical thinking ability,health education ability and humanistic care ability were evaluated through examinations and surveys.Results The examination score of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);96.8%of students were satisfied with the new teaching model;the total score of clinical thinking ability of the intervention group was 32.76±2.19 and all the students regarded health education was of great importance to promote the physical and psychological health of children.The total score of humanistic care skill was 212.83±6.88,which was relatively high.Conclusion Rain classroom-based precision teaching model improves the teaching quality of Pediatric Nursing and helps students develop various skills,which contributes to the improvement of vocational nursing education.
