Digital Infrastructure,Diversified Development of Rural Industries and Chinese-style Agriculture and Rural Modernization

Abstract
With the acceleration of a new round of technological revolution,digital infrastructure has gradually become an important engine for promoting Chinese-style agriculture and rural modernization.Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in Chi-na from 2011 to 2022,this paper empirically examines the impact and transmission mechanism of digital infrastructure on Chi-nese-style agriculture and rural modernization.The results show that digital infrastructure can significantly improve the modern-ization level of Chinese-style agriculture and rural areas in this province,and can also have a positive spatial spillover effect on the modernization of Chinese-style agriculture and rural areas in neighboring provinces.This conclusion still holds after the ex-planatory variable measure is replaced and municipalities are excluded.The heterogeneity analysis results indicate that digital in-frastructure has a more significant promoting effect on Chinese-style agriculture and rural modernization in the eastern region.Further analysis reveals that digital infrastructure can indirectly promote Chinese-style agriculture and rural modernization through the diversified development of rural industries.关键词
