Abstract
Objective To analyze the risk factors for spontaneous preterm birth(SPB)in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods The clinical data of 108 GDM patients treated in Yucheng County Second People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.According to whether SPB occurred,they were divided into the control group(n=90)and the preterm birth group(n=18).The clinical data of the two groups were statistically analyzed,and univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to clarify the risk factors for SPB in GDM patients.Results The maternal age of the preterm birth group was older than that of the control group,and the pre-pregnancy body mass index(BMI)was higher,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The proportions of natural abortion history,premature rupture of membranes(PROM),hypertension,family history of diabetes,and history of infection during pregnancy were all higher,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The Results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that older maternal age(OR=2.031),higher pre-pregnancy BMI(OR=3.112),natural abortion history(OR=1.765),PROM(OR=2.436),hypertension(OR=2.842),family history of diabetes(OR=5.132),and history of infection during pregnancy(OR=1.946)were independent risk factors for SPB in GDM patients,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion GDM patients may cause SPB.Maternal age,pre-pregnancy BMI,natural abortion history,PROM,hypertension,family history of diabetes,and history of infection during pregnancy are all risk factors for SPB in GDM patients.关键词
