Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of total glucosides of paeony capsules combined with hydrocortisone butyrate ointment on skin lesion area and inflammatory response in patients with chronic eczema.Methods Eighty patients with chronic eczema who received treatment in the hospital from July 2021 to June 2022 were selected and randomly divided into the control group(hydrocortisone butyrate ointment)and the combined group(total glucosides of paeony capsules combined with hydrocortisone butyrate ointment)by single-double ball method,with 40 cases in each group.Clinical effect[Eczema Area and Severity Index(EASI),TCM syndrome score,Global aesthetic improvement scale(GAIS)],skin barrier function[transepidermal water loss(TEWL),humidity,stratum corneum hydration(SCH)],immune function(Th1,Th2,IgE)and inflammatory factors(IL-23,IL-17,IL-1β)were compared between the two groups before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment.Results After 4 weeks of treatment,the EASI scores,TCM syndrome score,TEWL,Th1,Th2,IgE,IL-23,IL-17 and IL-1β in both groups were decreased compared with those before treatment,and the above indicators in combined group were lower than those in control group,but the GAIS score was higher than that in control group(all P＜0.05).Humidity and SCH were enhanced compared with those before treatment,and the two indicators were higher in combined group than those in control group(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Total glucosides of paeony capsules combined with hydrocortisone butyrate ointment can improve the clinical symptoms,enhance the overall aesthetics,promote the skin barrier function,improve the immune function and relieve the inflammatory response in patients with chronic eczema.关键词
