Abstract
Objective This study aims to explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the treatment outcome of orthodontic patients using digital impression technique.Methods A total of 80 patients who were admitted to the author's department from January 2020 to October 2022 and underwent orthodontic treatment with pre-digital impression technology were selected.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the observation group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention,while patients in the observation group were given comprehensive nursing intervention.Orthodontic efficacy,oral health impact profile-14(OHIP-14)score,generalized self-efficacy scale(GSES)score,patient satisfaction score,and Newcastle satisfaction score were recorded with nursing scale(NSNS)score and treatment of complications occurred during the study were compared between the two groups.Results After 6 months of intervention,the total effective rate of orthodontic treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the OHIP-14 score was lower than that in the control group,the GSES score was higher than that in the control group,the satisfaction scores of masticatory function,fixation,comfort,convenience and language function of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group.The incidence of complications during treatment in the observation group was 10.00%,which was lower than 32.50%in the control group,and the differences between the above indicators were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Digital impression technology with comprehensive nursing intervention can enhance the overall treatment of the orthodontics patients experience,and optimization of treatment effect,and strengthen the doctor-patient communication and collaboration between,has a positive value for clinical application.关键词
