Multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of distant metastases in thyroid cancer
摘要
Abstract
Thyroid cancer is a highly prevalent endocrine malignancy,with a subset of patients experiencing distant metastasis,significantly impacting prognosis.Diagnostically,imaging studies and serum biomarker assessments are utilized to evaluate the condition before and after thyroidectomy.Treatment encompasses radioactive iodine therapy,local treatments,and systemic therapies to improve symptoms and survival rates in clinical practice,a multidisciplinary team is involved in decision-making,selecting appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic approaches based on the patient's condition and personal preferences.The rational selection of treatment modalities is crucial for improving patient outcomes.Currently,the diagnosis and treatment of distant metastasis in thyroid cancer remain challenging,necessitating further research exploration.关键词
