Abstract
"Chu Embroidery"is the cultural treasure of Chinese traditional craft,and the embroidery of Chu dynasty already had a high level of skills.Most of the textiles unearthed in the Chu tombs during the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States period were embroidered with phoenisted-bird patterns.The vivid expression of the image of phoenisted-bird in the embroidery art of Chu is a symbol of the liberalization and democratization of the spiritual and cultural life of Chu people,who put the worship of phoenisted-bird in the leading and core position.Starting from the embroidery art of Chu,this paper makes a research on the art of clothing by integrating the phoenion-bird pattern with modern women's dress.The core content of this article is to study the cultural characteristics of Chu Embroidery art and the application of Chu Embroidery in clothing.On the one hand,the culture of Chu embroidery art is listed from the four aspects of shape,color,material and craft,which shows the phoenix culture that Chu people admire most.On the other hand,modern clothing focuses on the inheritance and innovation of Chu culture,with"Chinese color"dazzling Chu cultural elements,bringing Chu embroidery into the modern aesthetic show.Explore the direction of combining Chu phoenix bird pattern with modern women's dress design,and make contributions to the inheritance and development of Chu culture and embroidery culture.In addition,the study also aims to bring more possibilities and creativity to clothing design and make practical recommendations.关键词
