Abstract
With the construction of new electric power systems and electricity markets,the adjustable resources and market entities in the power system are continuously enriched.It puts forward higher requirements for system flexibility and market mechanisms.Energy storage is an important means to enhance system adjustment capability.Low-cost,low-constraint electric thermal storage technology is the best way to solve the issues of surplus renewable energy absorption and winter heating pollution.Firstly,it analyzes the operating characteristics of electric heat storage,proposes methods and mechanisms for participating in the electricity spot market.Secondly,it establishes an optimization clearing model including renewable energy absorption,electric heat storage load,section constraints,and nodal electricity prices.Finally,it optimizes the operation mode of electric heat storage on this basis to enhance the absorption capacity of renewable energy,while reducing overall system operating costs and energy efficiency.Case studies verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm.关键词
