The Mechanism and Effect of the Impact of Technology Market Thickness on Regional Innovation Ability

Abstract
Technology market thickness is the embodiment of the technology transaction scale and is an important factor affecting re-gional innovation ability.This article explores the different mechanisms by which technology output and technology input transaction volume affect regional innovation capability,as well as their mediating mechanisms,and conducts empirical tests based on provincial-level panel data in China.The empirical results show that:first,technology market thickness has a significant positive effect on region-al innovation output,and the actual effect of technology input on innovation is higher than that of technology output;second,technology market thickness has a significant mediating effect on innovation output as FDI and Internet utilization rate,but has no significant medi-ating effect on innovation as intellectual property protection;third,the thin thickness of the technology market and the low level of re-gional innovation ability will limit the promoting effect of technology market thickness on regional innovation output.Combining the re-sults of empirical research and the problems found in the analysis of the characteristic facts of China's technology market,the paper puts forward corresponding policy suggestions from the perspective of building a national unified technology factor market.关键词
