Abstract
The contradiction between supply and demand in China's housing market has become increasingly prominent.The housing provident fund system should play an effective role in achieving the target of'meeting the housing needs of all people'and promoting common prosperity.This paper constructs a theoretical analysis model to calculate the optimal construction scale and capital demand of housing provident funds participating in the construction of affordable rental housing in different time periods.Using the valuable data from four pilot cities in Sichuan Province,this paper preliminarily completes the practical calibration of our model.Each housing provi-dent fund center can use its data and calculate its optimal value according to the model,to guide practice,ensure the effective utiliza-tion of funds,and provide sufficient affordable rental housing at the same time.The model and research conclusions of this paper can help China's housing provident fund system more effectively support the construction of affordable rental housing,alleviate the contra-diction in the housing market,and better meet people's living needs.关键词
