Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of yttrium aluminum garnet crystal(Nd:YAG)high energy laser therapy(HILT)on shoulder joint function in patients with frozen shoulder.Methods:This was a randomized controlled study.A total of 60 patients were enrolled and randomly divided into laser group(n=30)and control group(n=30).All patients received conventional exercise therapy,including pendulous swing exercises and stick exercises.Before the routine exercise treatment,the laser group used Nd:YAG high energy laser therapeutic instrument to select 5 local pain points for laser treatment.Active range of motion(AROM),passive range of motion(PROM)and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons(ASES)score were evaluated before and after 2 weeks of treatment.Results:Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the indicators between the two groups(P>0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,in AROM,the abduction of the control group was significantly improved compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The flexion,abduction,and extension of the laser group were significantly improved compared with those before treatment,and the abduction difference,extension difference,and extension difference of the laser group were significantly better than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In PROM,the flexion,abduction,and extension of the laser group were significantly improved when compared with those before treatment,and the flexion difference,abduction difference,extension difference,and extension difference of the laser group were significantly better than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the self-evaluation of ASES patients,the VAS score,functional score and total score of the laser group were significantly improved compared with those before treatment,and the VAS score,functional score,total score and total score difference of the laser group were significantly better than those of the control group,the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:HILT can effectively improve AROM,PROM and shoulder function in patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis.关键词
