Abstract
Objective:To analyze the anxiety and depression in patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH)and its related influencing factors. Methods:The data of 176 LDH patients admitted to our hospital for spinal surgery from January 2018 to July 2021 were collected for a cross-sectional study.Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)were used to evaluate the anxiety and depression of the patients. The Chinese version of the Health Survey Summary Form(SF-36)and the special non-pain Visual Analog Scale(VAS)were used to evaluate the quality of life and pain degree.Basic information, including age, sex, marital status, education level and disease course, were collected for analysis. Results:The probabilities of anxiety and depression in 176 LDH patients were 14.8%and 17.0%.In multivariate logistic regression analysis, pain intensity, age and marital status were risk factors for anxiety state in LDH patients, while pain intensity,SAS,age and course of disease were risk factors for depression state. There were significant differences between SDS in the anxiety group and SAS in the depression group(P<0.05).The degree of anxiety and depression was negatively correlated with all dimensions in the health survey summary table(P<0.05).Conclusion:The anxiety and depression status of LDH patients is affected by age, pain intensity, course of disease, marital status and SDS and SAS scores, and is negatively correlated with quality of life, and the two are mutual risk factors. It is important to strengthen psychological intervention for middle-aged and young patients with severe pain and long course of disease.关键词
