Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of open reduction and internal fixation of rib fracture on patients with severe chest trauma.Methods:A total of 78 patients with severe chest trauma admitted to Kuandian Central Hospital from April 2019 to April 2020 were selected and divided into the study group and the reference group according to random number table method,with 39 cases in each group.The reference group received conservative treatment;the study group received open reduction and internal fixation for rib fractures.The pain degree,total effective rate,length of hospital stay,frequency of analgesic drug use,quality of life and total incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:At 2,24 and 48 h after treatment,the visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of the study group were lower than those of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The length of hospital stay in the study group was shorter than that in the reference group,and the frequency of analgesic drug use in the study group was less than that in the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total complication rate of the study group was lower than that of the reference group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the reference group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).1 week after treatment,the MOS item short from health survey(SF-36)score and treatment satisfaction of the study group were higher than those of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of open reduction and internal fixation of rib fracture in the treatment of patients with severe chest trauma can improve the treatment effect,reduce the degree of pain,shorten the length of hospital stay,reduce the number of analgesic drugs,reduce the risk of complications,and improve the quality of life and satisfaction of patients.关键词
