Progress in Research and Treatment of Unstable Intertrochanteric Fractures with Lateral Wall Fractures

Abstract
In the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture of femur,it is gradually recognized that the lateral wall plays an important role in the stability of proximal femoral fracture.The restoration of the integrity of the lateral wall can help to form the initial fixation of the broken proximal femur fracture block,restore the effective length of the hip abductor muscle group,and effectively prevent the occurrence of internal fixation failure,hip varus deformity,artificial joint dislocation and other complications.At present,there is no consensus on the importance of intertrochanteric fracture combined with external wall fracture,clinical classification and treatment plan establishment.This paper reviews the research and treatment progress of intertrochanteric fracture combined with external wall fracture after searching relevant literature at home and abroad,hoping to improve the clinical understanding of the treatment of external wall fracture.关键词
