Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of percutaneous vertebroplasty on thoracolumbar fracture and its clinical effect on the degree of surgical trauma and spinal function.Methods:Selecting 80 patients with thoracolumbar vertebral fractures admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 as the research subjects,they were divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with open reduction and internal fixation surgery,while the observation group was treated with percutaneous vertebroplasty.Compare the clinical total effective rate,biomechanical indicators,pain level,spinal function,bone density,and osteocalcin levels between two groups.Results:The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the maximum compressive strength and stiffness of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the height was lower than that of the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 3 days of treatment,The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)of pain in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 1 week of treatment,bone density and osteocalcin level in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The effect of percutaneous vertebroplasty on thoracolumbar fracture patients is significant,which can not only effectively reduce the degree of surgical trauma,but also improve the biomechanical indexes and spinal function,and increase the level of bone density and osteocalcin,which can be further popularized in clinic.关键词
