Abstract
Objective:To implement the perioperative fasting and water deprivation management program for elderly patients with hip fracture under the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS),and to explore the clinical application effect of the program.Methods:48 patients with hip fracture surgery admitted to the Department of Orthopedics of our hospital from June 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different fasting and water deprivation management programs,they were divided into observation group and control group,24 cases in each group.The observation group received perioperative fasting and water deprivation management under the concept of ERAS.The control group was treated with traditional diet management.Results:The preoperative and postoperative fasting and water deprivation time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting between the two groups(P＞0.05).The incidence of preoperative hunger,postoperative abdominal distension and constipation in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The ERAS management program for perioperative fasting and water deprivation in elderly patients with hip fracture is safe and feasible,which is worthy of clinical reference and implementation.关键词
