Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of continuous care in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur.Methods:60 elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur treated in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing and the observation group received continuous nursing.The degree of pain,hip function,self-care ability,complications and social support were compared between the two groups.Results:The Visual Analog Score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The hip function of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 weeks,3 and 6 months after operation,the Barthel index in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.67%,which was lower than that in the control group(20.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The social support of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of continuous nursing in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur is remarkable,which is helpful to relieve the pain of patients and improve the function of hip joint has application value.关键词
