Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of short segment pedicle screw fixation in the treatment of spinal fracture.Methods:72 patients with spinal fractures admitted to our hospital from July 2017 to August 2019 were selected as the research sub-jects,divided into 2 groups by random number method, with 36 cases in the control group and 36 cases in the study group. The control group was treated with transvertebral pedicle screw fixation, and the study group was treated with short segmental pedicle screw fixation. Results:The operation time and incision length of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);the height of the anterior edge of the injured vertebra in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the Cobb angle was smaller than that in the control group(P<0.05);before treatment, there was no significant difference in pain scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the pain score of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);before treatment, there was no significant difference in the improvement rate of neuro-logical function between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).After treatment, the improvement rate of neurological function in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);the total probability of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);the research group had higher functional dimensions, symptom dimensions, overall health status,individ-ual questions, and overall scores than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of spinal fracture, short segment pedicle screw fixation has the advantages of short operation time, little trauma and low blood loss, which is conducive to the recovery and recon-struction of spinal function and worthy of further clinical application.关键词
