The Correlation Between Serum High-Density Lipoprotein Level and Deep Vein Thrombosis in Elderly Patients with Intertrochanteric Fracture for Femur

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the correlation between serum high density lipoprotein(HDL-C)level and deep vein thrombosis(DVT)in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur.Methods:The data of 76 elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture treated in our hospital from September 2019 to September 2022 were retrospectively analysed,and were divided into DVT group(n=8)and non-DVT group(n=68)according to whether DVT occurred.X-ray venography was performed in all patients 1 month after operation to determine the occurrence of DVT.HDL-C levels were detected in all patients 2 days after surgery and correlation analysis was performed.The two groups were compared with hemorheological indicators,four coagulation indicators,patients'basic conditions and surgery related indicators.Results:The HDL-C level in DVT group was lower than that in non-DVT group,and the D-dimer was higher than that in non-DVT group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The fibrinogen in DVT group was higher than that in non-DVT group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that HDL-C,D-dimer and fibrinogen were correlated with DVT(P<0.05).Unconditional Logistic regression showed that HDL-C,D-dimer and fibrinogen were important factors leading to DVT(P<0.05).Conclusion:The incidence of DVT is higher in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture after operation,which is often accompanied by decreased HDL-C level,abnormal hemorheology and coagulation function.HDL-C level in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur is correlated with DVT.关键词
