Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of minimally invasive percutaneous locking plate osteosynthesis on palmar inclination and wrist function in elderly patients with distal radius fractures.Methods:60 elderly patients with distal radius fractures admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects,randomly divided them into a control group and an observation group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received external fixation surgery and manual reduction treatment,while the observation group received minimally invasive percutaneous locking plate osteosynthesis treatment.The clinical efficacy,radius height,ulnar deviation angle,palm angle,wrist joint function,and incidence of complications between two groups were compared.Results:The excellent rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of surgery,the height of the radius in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the ulnar deviation angle and palmar inclination angle were higher than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Six months after surgery,the pain,functional status,range of motion,and grip strength scores of both groups of patients were higher than before surgery,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with conventional external fixation surgery,minimally invasive percutaneous locking plate osteosynthesis has a more prominent therapeutic effect in the treatment of distal radius fractures in the elderly.It can improve wrist balance and palmar inclination,facilitate rapid recovery of wrist function in patients,and also have good safety.关键词
