Analysis of the evolution characteristics of the production-living-ecological space pattern in Jingzhou City based on land use
摘要
Abstract
The analysis of the evolution process and characteristics of the production-living-ecological space pattern is of paramount importance for the optimization of land resource allocation and the promotion of coordinated regional development. This study takes Jingzhou City as its focus, leveraging land use data from the years 2000 to 2020.By employing a suite of analytical tools, including the dynamic degree of production-living-ecological space, transfer matrix, center of gravity migration model, and landscape pattern indices, the study provides a comprehensive examination of the evolutionary characteristics of the production-living-ecological space pattern. The results indicate that agricultural production space and aquatic ecological space are the predominant types within the production-living-ecological space framework in Jingzhou City.Over the past two decades, there has been a significant reduction in the area of agricultural production space and other ecological spaces, while other types of production-living-ecological space have experienced a certain degree of expansion. The evolution of the production-living-ecological space is primarily characterized by the mutual transformation between agricultural ecological space and aquatic ecological space,as well as the transition of agricultural production space into other types of spaces. The migration of the gravity centers for rural living space, forest ecological space, and grassland ecological space has been relatively minimal, indicating a stable distribution for these particular spaces. In contrast, more pronounced shifts in gravity centers have been observed for other production-living-ecological space types. The landscape pattern of production-living-ecological space exhibits an increasing trend toward fragmentation and complexity, with a concomitant decline in spatial connectivity. The primary drivers identified for the evolution of the production-living-ecological space pattern in Jingzhou City include the encroachment of urban and rural construction on agricultural land and the execution of wetland conservation and restoration initiatives. To address these challenges,it is recommended that efforts be intensified to protect arable land and wetland ecosystems.Such measures are essential for safeguarding regional food and ecological security and fostering the harmonious co-development of economic, social, and ecological systems.关键词
