基于Maxent模型的湖南省白颈长尾雉适宜栖息地预测
Habitat Suitability Assessment of Syrmaticus ellioti in Hunan Province Based on Maxent Modeling

Abstract
Hunan Province is one of the main habitats of Syrmaticus ellioti,and analysis of its potential ha-bitat suitability is of great significance for conservation of the species.Herein,the maximum entropy(Maxent)model was used to predict the habitat suitability of S.ellioti in Hunan Province,taking into account many factors such as topography,water source,climate,vegetation,land type and human disturbance,combined with its effective distribution points.The results showed that the average area under the curve(AUC)value of the training set of Maxent model was 0.964 for ten repeated runs,indicating that the prediction result was excellent.Distance to the county road(dis_x),precipitation of warmest quarter(bio 18),distance to mixed fo-rest(dis_mxf)and mean diurnal range(bio2)were the main factors affecting the distribution of suitable habi-tats for S.ellioti,and distance to savannas(dis_sav),altitude and distance to barren(dis_bar)also had great effects on its distribution.The effects of other factors were not significant.The suitable habitat area of S.ellioti was 4.76×104 km2,which was mainly located in the mountainous areas of western and southern Hunan Province,but the suitable habitat was fragmented and scattered.关键词
