摘要

Abstract

Based on Python programming language,a geometric analytical method is used to study and write an efficient program for calculation of res-ervoir capacity,and a hydropower station reservoir in Gansu is selected as an example for verification.The results show that this program can realize the automatic calculation of reservoir capacity,and the calculation time is only 27 seconds.The cross-section method based on GIS takes 13 minutes,and the difference between the calculation results of the two is very small.The program reduces the complexity of reservoir capacity calculation and im-proves the calculation efficiency.This program can provide a feasible solution framework for similar engineering problems.
