Abstract
When encountering a river channel sandwiched between the mountains on both sides,the water diversion project usually adopts the form of connecting the riverbed box culvert with the tunnel inside the mountain.The riverbed area of a river often has a deep and highly permeable alluvial cover layer.When the junction of box culvert and diversion tunnel is arranged in the covering layer,effective excavation and support methods must be adopted to ensure construction safety and quality.Important procedures such as drainage of box culvert foundation pit,layered excavation and support of box culvert,pre reinforcement of junction,advanced support of tunnel and excavation of tunnel body must be developed and strictly implemented.Through deformation monitoring of tunnel surrounding rock,the opening and support methods of this project are reasonable and effective.关键词
