Abstract
Objective Vitiligo is one kind of immune-related cutaneous diseases,characterized by de-pigmentation.Cytokines play crucial roles in pathogenesis of this disease.Vitiligo is classified into segmental vitiligo(SV),non-segmental vitiligo(NSV),undetermined vitiligo and mixed vitiligo subtypes.The aim of this study was to investigate the significance of serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-8,and IL-10 in pathogenesis of SV and NSV.Methods A total of 161 vitiligo patients(29 with SV,131 with NSV,1 with undetermined vitiligo and none of mixed vitiligo subtypes)were collected and ana-lyzed retrospectively,who were diagnosed in Department of Dermatology,Peking Union Medical College Hospi-tal since January 2018 to December 2019.The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-8 and IL-10 in SV and NSV groups were compared in progressive and stationary phases.Result The IL-8 level of patients with NSV was significantly higher than that of SV patients(P=0.022)and serum IL-8 level was significantly higher in NSV group compared with that in of SV group in progressive stage(P=0.026).Conclusion IL-8 might play an important role in pathogenesis of NSV.关键词
