摘要

Abstract

With the rapid accumulation of massive breeding data,machine learning as an important branch of artificial intelligence,it would play an increasingly critical role in pig and animal breeding.How to use machine learning to achieve efficient,precise,and intelli-gent breeding was a hot and challenging issue that breeders urgently needed to address.This paper provided an overview of machine learning from the aspects of common algorithms and classification,and further reviewed the application of machine learning in the core aspects of animal breeding such as individual recognition,phenotype determination and breeding value estimation.Meanwhile,some problems in intelligent breeding were pointed out and relevant suggestions were put forward.To provide reference for the research and application of machine learning in pig and even animal breeding under the background of big data.
