摘要

Abstract

The Test for English Majors Band 8(TEM8)is a pivotal examination for senior undergrad-uate English majors,with the Chinese-to-English translation section posing both a challenge and a sig-nificant obstacle to overall performance.It proposes an integrated instructional strategy that leverages frame thinking,involving:Teachers guiding students to construct the cognitive image of the original text using a general conceptual framework;Directing students to reconstruct the cognitive image in the target language by introducing frame information from the free online corpus resource FrameNet;Guiding students to refine and evaluate their translations,with a focus on the syntactic configuration of frame ele-ments,using authentic data from FrameNet.
