Stoichiometric characteristics of Roegneria yushuensis in different growth periods

研究植物的碳(C)、氮(N)、磷(P)化学计量特征对于评估植物的养分需求和养分供应状况具有重要意义,有利于揭示植物适应环境的生态策略.本研究测定了玉树鹅观草(Roegneria yushuensis)在花期、乳熟期、蜡熟期及完熟期的茎、叶、穗、根的C、N、P含量以及其化学计量特征和分配比,探究玉树鹅观草各功能构件C、N、P含量及其化学计量比的生育期变化规律,为玉树鹅观草的科学收获提供理论依据.研究结果显示:1)玉树鹅观草C、N、P含量均值分别为 408.52、8.75、2.15 mg·g-1;C∶N、C∶P、N∶P 比值均值分别为 65.52、537.55、9.75,叶片 N∶P 均值小于14,表明玉树鹅观草的生长更易受N元素限制.2)玉树鹅观草叶C、N、P含量、穗N含量、根C含量随生育期的推移整体呈现下降趋势,穗P含量呈现先降低后增加的趋势.除蜡熟期外,在各生育期,均表现为穗部N、P含量最高,且穗中C、N、P分配比随生育期的推移整体不断上升,在完熟期达到最大值,说明进入花期后养分逐渐向穗中转移,玉树鹅观草在生长策略上倾向于获得更多的后代.3)所有指标的变异系数均大于0.1,小于1.0,属于中度变异范畴.变异来源分析表明,生育期对玉树鹅观草C含量变异的贡献大于功能构件差异,而功能构件差异对玉树鹅观草N、P含量及C∶N、C∶P、N∶P变化的贡献大于生育期变化.

Studying the stoichiometry of carbon(C),nitrogen(N),and phosphorus(P)in plants is of great significance for assessing their nutrient demand and supply status,which is beneficial to reveal their ecological strategies to adapt to the environment.This study measured the C,N,and P contents of stems,leaves,spikes,and roots of Roegneria yushuensis during the flowering,milk,dough,and mature stages,as well as its stoichiometric characteristics and allocation ratios.The aim was to explore the variations in the C,N,and P contents and stoichiometric ratios of the functional components of R.yushuensis throughout its growth stages,thereby providing a theoretical basis for the scientific harvest of R.yushuensis.The results showed that:1)the mean C,N,and P contents of R.yushuensis were 408.52,8.75,and 2.15 mg·g-1,respectively.The mean ratios of C∶N,C∶P,and N∶P were 65.52,537.55,and 9.75,respectively.2)the C,N,and P contents of R.yushuensis leaves,as well as the N content of spikes and the C content of roots,showed a decreasing trend along the growth stages.The P content of spikes decreased first and then increased.Except in the dough stage,the N and P contents were highest in the spikes throughout the other three stages,and the stoichiometric ratios of C,N,and P in the spikes continuously increased until the mature stage,reaching their maximum values.This indicated that nutrients gradually transferred to the spikes after entering the flowering stage,suggesting that R.yushuensis tends to allocate more resources to obtain more offspring as part of its growth strategy.3)the coefficient of variation of each index was greater than 0.1 and less than 1.0,which indicated moderate variation.The variation source analysis showed that the contribution of the growth period to the variation in C content was greater than that of functional component differences,and the contribution of functional component differences to the N and P contents and the C∶N,C∶P,and N∶P changes of R.yushuensis was greater than that during the growth period.
