摘要

Abstract

Alzheimer's disease (AD), a leading cause of dementia, emphasizes the critical importance of early diagnosis for timely intervention and disease progression mitigation. In 2018, the National Institute of Aging and Alzheimer's Association (NIA-AA) introduced the ATN (amyloid/tau/neurodegeneration) diagnostic criteria for AD, which has garnered extensive clinical acceptance and utilization. This article offers a comprehensive review of the applications of positron emission tomography (PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and integrated positron emission tomography-magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MR) in the ATN diagnostic framework, and explores the profound advantages of multi-probe, multi-modal PET/MR in diagnosis. The objective is to provide researchers with novel perspectives and references for further investigation, drive the clinical application of PET/MR for AD patients, and furnish clinicians with crucial imaging evidence to support their practice
